Friends’ Book Sales have raised over $170,000 in support of the University Park Public Library since the Book Sales Committee re-launched in 2020. This fundraising would not have been possible without the support of our generous book donors, sponsors, supporting volunteer organizations, the City of University Park, and the enthusiastic book lovers who purchase books from us. Beyond the funds raised, book sales have served as a place for book lovers to gather and connect as a community.
Second Chapter Book Corner
For great deals on previously-read books, shop the Second Chapter Book Corner located beside the elevator at the Library. It is available during Library operating hours and accepts cash and Venmo. The selection of books is rotated periodically so check back often.
Second Chapter Book Sales
The Friends occasionally holds a Book Sale at the Library or other “pop-up” location, giving us the opportunity to offer a larger selection of books. Check our Event Calendar to see when the next Sale is scheduled.
