The UP Public Library Community Read Program invites the community to join us for a screening of part 1 of the four part miniseries, Lonesome Dove. This 1989 miniseries starring Robert Duvall, Tommy Lee Jones, Danny Glover, Diane Lane and Anjelica Huston won 7 Emmys and is a faithful adaptation of the novel.

The screening will be held on Thursday, June 25 in the UP Public Library 3rd Floor Community Room. Fun theatre snacks will be available when doors open at 5:30pm. Screening will begin at 6:00pm. The program is free and open to all but reservations are recommended. Run time is approximately 1.5 hours.
