DESCRIPTION:Join the Friends for an informative talk by Jeffrey Engel\, David Gergen Director at the Center for Presidential History at SMU. He will present ‘Seeking Monsters to Destroy: How America Goes to War\,” a history of how American leaders have identified our foreign foes\, and how their description alters the way Americans fight. \nThe presentation will be held on Tuesday\, April 28 in the UP Public Library 3rd Floor Community Room at 7pm. Light refreshments will be served at 6:30pm.  The program is free and open to all but reservations are recommended. \nThis Meet Me at the Library Lecture is generously sponsored by Complete Landsculpture.
