The Friends of the UPPL presents Rena Pederson, award-winning journalist, speechwriter and author of five books. She will be discussing her most recent book “The King of Diamonds” which has been described in reviews as a “tour de force” and “must-read.”  It is the thrilling story of a brazen, uncatchable jewel thief who roamed the homes of Dallas high society—and a window into the dark secrets lurking beneath the surface of the Swinging Sixties.

The presentation will be held on Thursday, Feb 12 at Park Cities Baptist Church in the Ellis Parlor. Light refreshments will be served at 6:30pm and the program starts at 7:00pm.  The program is free and open to all but reservations are required.
