2026 Membership Levels & Benefits
Support the UP Public Library with a donation to the Friends. Give as little as $25 for the year and become a “Friend” of the UP Public Library. Your donation will be used to:
- Maintain and improve Library facilities
- Host in-person events by local luminaries and authors
- Fund enriching Library programs such as Summer Reading
- Purchase books and materials for circulation
Since the Library opened in the Plaza at Preston Center in 2013, the Friends has raised over $2.25 million. Please join us in supporting our local Library and Be A Part of Our Story!

Please note the current membership term is January 1 to December 31.
New memberships or renewals made between October 1 and December 31 will be extended through the following year.

The Friends is a committed group of individuals who support our community Library through service and fundraising. Since the Library opened in the Plaza at Preston Center in 2013, the Friends has raised over $2.25 million to provide high-quality materials, services, technology, and programs.
