Acorn Award Recipients

This award honors those whose dedication and support have had an enduring impact on the mission of the Friends of the UPPL and the library.  It is inspired by a quote by Augustine Birrell, an English author who lived from 1850 to 1933.  He simply states, “Libraries are not made, they grow.”  So from the humble acorn, the magnificent oak tree is born to grow, thrive, and flourish.
