On February 6th at 7:00 p.m., David Kramer, Executive Director of the Bush Institute, former Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs (responsible for Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus affairs as well as regional non-proliferation issues), Executive Director of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy in Washington, author of the book, Back to Containment: Dealing with Putin’s Regime, and renowned scholar on Russia and Ukraine, will present on Preserving Democracy, a topic of particular resonance given the events at home and across the globe.
